The public WiFi service is one of the major Internet connectivity services widely deployed around the world. Many pulic WiFi services often use the Captive Portal mechanism to authenticate users. In this column, we introduce the researcher working on analyzing security risks of the Captive Portal mechanism to achieve more secure pubic WiFi service.
