Simple filtering technologies such as pattern matching are widely used to block malicious traffic, but new technologies such as machine learning are intensively investigated to realize more flexible operations. In this column, we will introduce a researcher who are working on technologies for applying heavy load technology such as machine learning to high-speed networks.
