In order to carry out multicast communications on the Internet efficiently, a general Multicast Satellite Communication Architecture using VSAT Satellite Station has been designed and multicast protocol and applications have been implemented. In addition, an internet architecture utilizing the satellite's mobility, geographical universality, and dynamic route configuration was established and applied tothe actual Internet, thus allowing communication not possible on former network architectures.

    Establish tunneling and a virtual gateway using the VSAT Satellite and investigate its possibility as an alternative route on the WIDE Internet
