Overview of research:

IEEE1394 is a network bus architecture with many outstanding advantages, including the fact that it supports low-cost, high-speed buses (up to 400Mbps) and synchronous data transmission (QoS transmission function), and can be used in digital AV interfaces in digital household appliances. It is likely to become increasingly important in view of the future convergence of networks with household appliances and AV equipment, and in the building of low-cost networks. The aim of this work group is to carry out research and development on technologies for the integration of IEEE1394 with the Internet, and to provide a development environment for IEEE1394.
